Who are we?

At Mind Body and Soul Yoga, we believe yoga is more than just movement—it’s a space for connection, growth, and healing. Our classes are designed exclusively for women, creating a warm and supportive environment where you can move at your own pace and feel truly at home.

This is more than just a yoga class; it’s a mindfulness class too. We focus on gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation, helping you build strength in both body and mind. Almost all of our ladies had never tried yoga before coming to our classes, and now they can’t imagine life without it!

We are built on three core values: community, value, and inclusivity. Whether you’re new to yoga or have years of experience, you’ll find a welcoming space where every woman is valued and supported. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to be gentle on the body while supporting mental and emotional wellbeing.

If you are at the peri-menopause, menopause, or post-menopause stage of life, or if you are struggling with depression, stress, anxiety, or simply need some exercise, this class is for you.

Our Classes

Imagine stepping into a sanctuary, far removed from the harsh brightness and blaring noise of a gym. The air is soft with the scent of lthat weeks chosen essential oils, grounding and comforting. Dim, warm lighting casts a gentle glow, creating an atmosphere of deep restfulness. Instead of floor-to-ceiling mirrors and pounding bass, you hear the soothing soundtrack picked especially to help you relax. 

 

There are no big windows showcasing bodies in motion, no pressure to perform. Here, yoga isn’t about how flexible you are, or whether you can twist into impossible shapes. It’s about feeling at home in your own body, no matter its shape, size, or experience level.

Women of all ages settle onto their mats, wrapped in the comfort of their own presence. There’s no rush, no competition—just the slow rhythm of movement and breath. Gentle, flowing sequences ease out stiffness, inviting the joints to move with kindness. Poses are adaptable, intuitive, and made for real bodies, not Instagram aesthetics.

This is a space where you can be yourself, free from judgement. A place where yoga is not a workout but a return to yourself.

Aromatherapy

 

As you settle onto your mat, the soothing scents weave through each inhale, grounding you in the present moment. With every slow, mindful movement, the delicate aromas seem to melt away tension, inviting the body to soften and release. A few drops of essential oil are gently pressed into the palms for the final relaxation, allowing the scent to cocoon you in warmth and tranquillity. By the time you rise, your breath feels steadier, your mind clearer, and your body at ease, as if wrapped in an invisible embrace of calm.

Guided Meditations

 

Each week, the yoga class becomes a journey, guided by a fresh meditation designed to nourish the mind and soul. As you settle onto your mat, the instructor’s voice gently leads you inward—one week, you might be drifting through a peaceful forest, the next, floating on the rhythm of your own breath. The meditation deepening the connection between body and mind. Whether focusing on self-love, grounding, or releasing tension, each session feels like a new discovery, offering exactly what is needed in that moment. As the practice closes, the meditation lingers, leaving a sense of clarity and renewal that carries through the week ahead.

Music

 

As the class begins, a soothing soundtrack curated by Vicki drifts through the space—gentle piano melodies, soft chimes, and the distant murmur of ocean waves. The music wraps around each movement, setting a rhythm that feels effortless and natural. Breath synchronises with sound, flowing like a tide, guiding the body into soft, nourishing stretches. There is no rush, no strain—just the gentle support of harmonies that calm the nervous system and invite deep release. As the final notes fade into silence, a sense of stillness settles, leaving everyone feeling lighter, softer, and utterly at peace.

Candlelight

 

In the flickering glow of candlelight, the yoga class unfolds like a gentle ritual, inviting deep rest and renewal. The soft, golden light dances across the walls, casting shadows that move with each slow, intentional breath. A hush fills the space, broken only by the soothing voice of the instructor and the quiet rustle of bodies settling into stillness. Each movement is unhurried, each stretch a conversation with the body, guided by warmth and intuition. As the class winds down, the dim light cradles everyone in a cocoon of calm, leaving behind a sense of deep peace that lingers long after the final breath.
